Bio-inspired Machine Learning
The problem of optimizing machine learning techniques is usually solved through deterministic approaches that are essentially based on Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus. However, when it is not possible to build an analytical approach to compute the optimal values of the decision variables of the objective function, then you can resort to Stochastic and Metaheuristic Approaches whose source of inspiration is embedded in the Fauna that inhabits Nature and in the processes of Natural Selection; giving rise -ultimately- to Bio-inspired Optimization Approaches.

Our study groups take place on Saturdays from 9: 30am to 13: 30pm so that all the passionate of the IA have the opportunity to learn while building projects.

Angelina Alarcón
Leader & Mentor
Computer Engineer with Masters in Business Administration and in Data Science and Big Data. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate in Information Technology at the University of Guadalajara. With more than 30 years of professional experience in the field of Information Technologies, he has forged a solid track record marked by his leadership and experience in the implementation of Machine Learning projects in the Public Sector. As a professor at ITESM, she shares her knowledge and experience with new generations of professionals in the Data Science and Mathematics Engineering Career. Likewise, she actively collaborates in the Vice-Rector's Office of Continuing Education, where she serves as guide portfolio coordinator, leading and developing an innovative generative AI project. She is an active member of the Data and Information Management Association (DAMA México) and co-founder of Women in Data Science, Power and Engineering AC, where she plays a crucial role in promoting the empowerment of women in STEM. Additionally, he is part of the Board of Directors of this community, contributing to its development and growth.
