Smart Cities and opportunities with AI for better places to live
Smart Cities have become a multidisciplinary field where technology helps improve the quality of life in cities. Cities have become very complex in services and processes that require support. On the other hand, technology has become an enabler that helps manage and improve these city services. The infrastructure in Smart Cities allows managing cycles of data generation and extraction, creation of open data based on collected historical records, and generating data analytics to help everyone who comes to a city make better decisions about how to improve their lives. Likewise, Artificial Intelligence can help optimize and democratize access to city services, if it is well applied. In this talk, we will provide an overview of the problems, challenges and opportunities that we can encounter when implementing AI projects in Smart Cities.
