SATURDAYS.AI / LEARN. BUILD. CONNECT.

About Saturdays.AI

Our founder and president is Miguel Guerrero. We have supported more than 30,000 AI fellows. The other team biographies below describe contributions recorded on our original website.

Our community: learn, build and share

Saturdays.AI began with a simple idea: learning artificial intelligence is more meaningful when we do it together and apply it to something that matters. We bring together learners, mentors and organisations to turn curiosity into practical skills and projects with social impact.

We have helped more than 30,000 AI fellows on their learning journey. They are the people at the heart of our community: people starting out, changing careers, sharing their experience or exploring a new idea. Our impact begins with what they learn and grows through what they build and share.

Our mission: AI4ALL IS AI4GOOD

We want to make AI accessible to more people and help them use it with purpose. That means learning in a supportive community, asking good questions and building projects that respond to real needs.

Our flagship programme, AI Saturdays, combines practical sessions, mentor support and a project built in a team. Editions typically run over 12 to 15 Saturdays and end with a Demo Day to share the work. Each local team confirms its format, prerequisites and dates.

There is more than one way to begin. Explore our learning resources, find a local community, discover a project or listen to the podcast. Schools and organisations can contact us to explore ways to collaborate.

  • Learn by doing, with support from others.
  • Share knowledge and encourage open technology.
  • Connect different backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Put people and social impact at the centre of each project.

Find your community or start learning.

I lead the global team, provide support to the communities and also strategic advice. My great passion is the human brain, although I am a computer engineer by training and I have worked on several AI projects related to health. I have always been fascinated by psychology and neuroscience and believe that the complex interactions of our brain shape our thoughts, memories, feelings and motivations, and ultimately make us human. I like to talk about mental well-being in the modern world, habits, brain-computer interfaces, education, learning, productivity and creativity. You can read me at smartsapiens.net and recommend a good book 😉
